This idea has been foundational to my adult life - as a graduate student, as a trained botanist and ecologist, and as a professor of biology. It is also the foundation for my photography - as I turn my lens to nature and the plant world. I seek to highlight the often overlooked details of the plant world, the beauty of urban greenspaces, and the uniqueness of native ecosystems.
